Training for our Coaches May 14, 2011

We were able to get some good programming training at Marshall University with Linda Hamilton. 

Coach Aaron and Sean were able to able to go over different types of Loop for Sensors on theNXT.

Coach Laurie was able to train with local Parents on beginning programming on the NXT

Cabell County Health Department (Pending)

We have talked with Cabell County Health Department to arrange a meeting with thier Epidemiologists to discuss the problems with Food Contamination. Please stay tuned to our website calendar to see when this meeting will take place.

Team Building/Naming Meeting May 7th, 2011

On Saturday May 7th, 2011 , we will be meeting from 10 -12pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints at 5640 Shawnee Dr, Huntington, WV from 10-12pm.

We will be doing Team Buidling Exercises and voting on our Team names.  Please call me if you have any questions.

Huntington Kitchen visit with Chef Joe May 6th, 2011

2011 FIRST LEGO League Team #57

I am proud to say that we have aquired Team # 57 for this years FIRST LEGO League Team. After rushing to get our registration in so that we could get a good number this year we nailed it! Lets follow through with this since of commitment.

Ultimately, we as Coaches would like our team members to chatter amongst one another. Bouncing ideas between one another is important. This will be a learning experience since all of our students have different degrees of typing experience,but it will help you to not only build a bond in the form of friendships but learn from one another. 04/22/11:Preseason Meeting Minutes

Preseason meetings: We talked about future preseason meetings. Coach Sean is working on scheduling two meetings at his church for Team Building skills and Team naming. Our next meeting will be next friday the 29th at Coach Lewis's home in the Robotics Dungeon between 6:30-8pm.

During our next meeting we will have at least three Robots setup up with several sensors on them.
